The Wentlows Open Space Improvement Project
Thanks to a successful partnership funding bid, work has been completed on a new play area in Upper Tean.
Development of the new play area, at land off Wentlows Road, is a partnership between Checkley Parish Council and Staffordshire Moorlands District Council in response to feedback from local residents.
Funding has come from the development of Douval Works in Tean and a further £30,000 from a bid to the Tarmac Landfill Communities Fund.
Sutcliffe Play Ltd were selected to supply and install the new equipment.
